Rami Abadir (born in Cairo) is an egyptian musician, producer and music critic. His work focuses on experimental and ambient electronic music. In his approach to sound, he treats individual sounds, synthesized sounds, objects, and field recordings as musical instruments. He’s also part of the duo 0N4B with Cairo based artist Onsy, and co-founder of the audio/visual collective „Mapping Possibilities“. Abadir has contributed about 30 articles related to electronic music, music history, theory and reviews for the Arabic website Ma3azef.
